Application for Journeyman Wireman training: A participating employee is one who is employed by a contractor who is contributing to the Training Trust on his/her behalf. If you have any questions about your eligibility to attend classes please call (515)224 - 4349.Journeyman Training Sign-Up ProceduresA Journeyman Registration form must be completed by each participant. The form must be completed and mailed to the State Training Center along with the registration fee of $50.00 in the form of a check or money order. Checks should be made payable to the IEA. Registration fee will be refunded upon course completion. Failure to notify the IEA in advance (NLT 24 hours prior to class start date) that a participant is unable to attend the course will result in the registration fee being forfeit. Participants who choose to apply on the day of the course will pay a non-refundable fee of $25.00; early registration will avoid this fee. A minimum of 10, pre-registered, participants is required to conduct JW Continuing Education coursework which applies toward any state or local mandated License renewal credit.
